Tragic Boating Accidents: Coast Guard Suspends Search for Missing Boaters
The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended its search for 36-year-old Chad Dunn, the second missing boater involved in a tragic capsizing near Oregon Inlet, North Carolina. The body of 65-year-old boating captain Charlie Griffin and his dog were found earlier. Despite extensive search efforts, the decision to suspend the search was made after 41 hours of searching and covering approximately 400 miles by air, sea, and on shore. North Carolina Fish and Wildlife will conduct an investigation into the incident.
