New Jersey teacher charged in sexual assault case linked to former student
A former New Jersey middle school teacher, 36-year-old Ashley Fisler, was arrested on six counts of first-degree sexual assault of a minor plus related charges for a 2021 sexual relationship with a student who is now an adult. Investigators found text messages and described encounters in her vehicle and classroom. Fisler taught social studies at Orchard Valley Middle School in Washington Township (Gloucester County) from 2014 to 2023 and is no longer employed.
