Ubisoft has revealed the Y8S3 Designer's Notes for Rainbow Six Siege's upcoming Operation Heavy Mettle, which includes changes to playlists, operators, and gameplay mechanics. While Iana and Warden won't be changed immediately, Ubisoft plans to address their high pick rates in a mid-season patch. Fuze will now be able to place Cluster Charges on Deployable Shields, Lesion is receiving buffs to his Gu Mines, and shotguns are being buffed with normalized damage ranges. Quick Match has reduced preparation and action phases, and Unranked is now called Standard.
