"Quitality" Returns to Mortal Kombat 1 with Brutal Punishment for Rage Quitters

The move was first introduced in Mortal Kombat X and involves a character snapping their own neck. The Quitality is a satisfying way of punishing cheaters and may shame them out of bailing early, but it remains to be seen if it will be effective.

Mortal Kombat 1 stress test codes spark scalping frenzy.

Scalpers are selling their codes for Mortal Kombat 1's stress test, a private testing period designed to stress NetherRealm's online infrastructure and identify potential issues ahead of its launch later this year. The test is free and only running this weekend, but codes have popped up on eBay for hundreds of dollars, with some allegedly selling for $1000. The stress test features 1 vs. 1 online multiplayer and a limited single-player Klassic Towers mode against AI opponents. Mortal Kombat 1 will hold a beta test in August, and the full game launches for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Switch on 19th September.

"Street Fighter 6: Open Beta Updates and Fixes"

Street Fighter 6's open beta test will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC from May 19 to May 21. The beta will include eight characters and the same content as the second closed beta. Players can pre-download the open beta client, and PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold are not required. Online ranking progress, high scores, and custom avatars will not carry over into the full game. Street Fighter 6 is set to release on June 2 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
