Five players suspended for on-field misconduct in US vs. Mexico game.
CONCACAF has suspended four players, Cesar Montes and Gerardo Arteaga of Mexico, and Weston McKennie and Sergiño Dest of the U.S., for on-field player misconduct during the recent match between the two teams. Montes and McKennie received three-match suspensions, while Arteaga and Dest were suspended for two matches. The suspensions can be served during Gold Cup games, but only Montes and Arteaga will actually miss games as a result of the suspensions.
