Pimax has announced two new VR headsets, the Crystal Super and Crystal Light, with significantly improved resolution and lower prices compared to the Apple Vision Pro. The Crystal Super boasts 29.5 million pixels and includes eye-tracking with optional foveated rendering, while the Crystal Light matches the resolution of the original Crystal but is 30% lighter. The headsets are designed for PC VR and are priced at $799 and $1,799 respectively, offering a more affordable alternative to the Vision Pro. Additionally, Nvidia and Apple are collaborating to bring Omniverse Cloud platform to the Vision Pro, allowing users to interact with objects and design directly through the headset.
