HP OfficeJet printers bricked by recent firmware update.
A recent software update released by HP for its OfficeJet printers is causing some of those devices to become unusable, with affected printers displaying a blue screen with the error code 83C0000B. HP has acknowledged the issue and is working on a fix, but for now, affected customers are advised to disconnect their printer from the internet to prevent the buggy update from downloading. This is not the first time an HP software update has caused problems for customers, with a previous update causing printers to not work with third-party ink cartridges.
