Splatoon 3's second wave of Expansion Pass DLC, "Side Order," will feature a completely new and different single player campaign with Off the Hook, according to producer Hisashi Nogami. Co-director Seita Inoue revealed that the story will feature a world where Team Order triumphed over Team Chaos. The DLC will follow the release of Wave 1, which allowed players to revisit Inkolpolis and reunite with the Squid Sisters Callie and Marie.

Splatoon 3 developers have teased the upcoming Side Order DLC, the second part of the game's expansion pass, promising "completely new and different" gameplay. The DLC will feature Off the Hook, the pop idol duo, in a new story. The developers also revealed that the world of the DLC is what the world would be like if Team Order had won in the Final Fest. The first wave of the Expansion Pass brought back Inkopolis, which was designed to reflect the seven years since the release of Splatoon 1.
