Konami has announced the release of two new products for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game (OCG) English Edition for Asia, including the Creation Pack 03 and Phantom Nightmare. The Creation Pack 03, set to release on March 9th, will feature powerful themes such as "Phantasm," "Dracoslayer," and "Ghoti," while the Phantom Nightmare, set to release on March 30th, will introduce new rarities and increased numbers of Ultra Rares and Ultimate Rares. Additionally, promotional campaigns and events will be held in Asia regions to celebrate the product launch.
The OCG Promotion Pack 2024 [24PR] will feature two new cards: "Mirah and Matchnoko," a Level 1 FIRE Spellcaster with the ability to Special Summon itself and negate opponent's card activations, and "A★Speculation," a Level 7 LIGHT Warrior Fusion with ATK and DEF based on its battle position and the ability to be Special Summoned from the graveyard by tributing specific monsters. These cards will be available at Jump Festa for participating in events.
The next V Jump promo for Yu-Gi-Oh's OCG is Hyoumaryuu Brionac, a legendary Dragon from the early Synchro era whose effects will be revealed on July 7th, 2023.
The three themes of Valiant Smashers have been revealed for the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game. The first theme, Memento, features enormous monsters that revive from oblivion. The second theme, Centurion, includes iron knights that start up with the power of bonds. The third theme, Valmonica, involves the voices of angels and demons influencing the tides of battle. The Valiant Smashers will be released in the OCG.
The first GET Campaign for the legendary "Black Luster Soldier" in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game will begin on June 10th, 2023. By purchasing 3000 yen or more of Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game Cards, players can receive a scratch card and enter the serial code on the campaign website for a chance to obtain the mythical "Black Luster Soldier" in Ultra Rare foil. The campaign will run a total of three times until July 2024.
The Altergeists are back with new cards in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. The new cards include Altergeist Malwisp, Altergeist Perinetrator, Altergeist Adminia, and Altergeist Revitalization. Altergeist Adminia is a Link-4 monster that allows players to set an Altergeist Trap directly from their deck and take control of an opponent's Effect Monster. Altergeist Revitalization is a Normal Trap that allows players to Special Summon an Altergeist Link Monster from their graveyard and Normal Summon an Altergeist monster.
The second core booster of 2023 for the Yu-Gi-Oh OCG, Age of Overlord, will be released on July 22, 2023. It will feature cards for both old and new themes, as well as Quarter Century Secret Rares. The first run will include the usual "+1 Bonus Pack."
