Three Scottish brothers, Ewan, Jamie, and Lachlan Maclean, completed the fastest unsupported non-stop row across the Pacific Ocean in 139 days, setting a new record and raising funds for clean water projects in Madagascar, overcoming numerous challenges including storms and a man-overboard incident.
Extreme athlete Tom Waddington, while rowing across the Atlantic Ocean, found himself surrounded by over 1,000 whales for hours. Despite initial fear and concern for his boat, Waddington captured the unique and awe-inspiring encounter on video. The whales, identified as long-finned pilot whales, were social and playful. Waddington is raising money for the British mental health charity Mind.
