NYC Doctor Dana Diab Fired for Pro-Hamas Post
Dr. Dana Diab, an ER physician at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, has been fired after celebrating the massacre of Israelis by Hamas on social media. Diab shared an Instagram video of the attack on the Nova music festival near Gaza, rejoicing in the violence. Her employer, Northwell Health, responded by announcing her dismissal and stating that her views do not represent their values. The festival site was left abandoned and torched by Hamas, with dozens of cars and tents abandoned. One of the festivalgoers abducted by Hamas was Mia Schem, whose mother is pleading for her safe return. Anti-Semitism has surged in the US, with protests and backlash against Israel, including at Harvard University, where CEOs have expressed concerns about hiring students who support Hamas.
