NYC Doctor Arrested for Drugging, Raping, and Filming Multiple Victims
Zhi Alan Cheng, a 33-year-old gastroenterologist at New York Presbyterian Queens, is facing over 20 sex crime charges after allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting at least six women, including a patient, and filming the assaults. Cheng's girlfriend discovered videos of him assaulting her and other women while they were unconscious. Prosecutors found various drugs, including fentanyl and ketamine, in Cheng's home. The charges include rape, predatory sexual assault, sexual abuse, and assault. The alleged victims range in age from 19 to 47 years old, and there may be more victims. Cheng pleaded not guilty and is being held without bond.
