Zach Edey named Wooden Award winner for outstanding performance.
Zach Edey, the 7'4" junior from Purdue, has won the 2023 John R. Wooden Men's Player of the Year award, making him the fifth Big Ten player to win the award since 2000. Edey had previously won all five of the other major National Player of the Year awards.
