Raimi Drops Spider-Man 4, Sends Peter Parker’s Torch to the Next Era
Sam Raimi says he’s moved on from directing Spider-Man 4, viewing his trilogy as a finite chapter and suggesting future storytellers should carry on the Spider-Man saga. While he’d once left the door open to a return, he now feels his version of Peter Parker has run its course, and No Way Home kept Maguire’s Spider-Man in play without reviving his fourth film.
