Deadly Attacks Rock Pakistan, Claiming Lives of Police and Soldiers
Several officers and soldiers were killed and injured in attacks on a police station and an army outpost in northwest Pakistan. This comes as violence continues to escalate in former Taliban strongholds along the border with Afghanistan. Three attackers were also reported killed in the second attack this week on police posts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The region has witnessed a rise in violence this year, with various militant groups claiming responsibility for deadly attacks.
