MLGW has issued a boil water advisory for parts of north Shelby County due to low water pressure caused by power outages from Sunday's storm. The utility company is working to restore power and pressure to normal levels. Residents in the impacted area are advised to boil water for three minutes before using it for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation or to use bottled water until further notice.
