Multiple Shootings in Columbus Leave Victims Hospitalized or Dead
A man with multiple felony warrants, identified as Rodriguez Fitzgerald, engaged in a shootout with Columbus police officers in North Linden. Fitzgerald had stated his intention to have a shootout with police. He was shot by an officer and taken to the hospital in critical condition, but later upgraded to stable condition. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is investigating the incident. Fitzgerald will be charged with felonious assault against a police officer.
