13-year-old Da’vian Kimbrough Sets North American Record with Historic Pro Soccer Debut
Da'vian Kimbrough, a 13-year-old forward for the Sacramento Republic, made his professional debut, becoming the youngest North American soccer player to do so. Kimbrough signed a first-team contract with the club in August, making him the youngest American to agree to a professional deal. He appeared in the 87th minute of the team's 2-0 win against the Las Vegas Lights. With two games left in the regular season, Sacramento is currently in first place in the USL Championship Western Conference standings.
