Tesla Faces Growing European Union Dispute and Blockade as Scandinavian Countries Join Forces
Danish pension fund PensionDanmark has decided to sell its holdings in Tesla due to the company's refusal to enter into agreements with labour unions. This decision aligns with a growing Nordic movement to pressure Tesla into signing collective bargaining agreements with Swedish mechanics. Labour unions in Norway and Denmark have announced plans to block transit shipments of Tesla cars destined for the Swedish market. Tesla maintains that its employees have favorable terms and rejects collective bargaining. PensionDanmark manages pensions for over 800,000 Danes and has approximately $45.81 billion under asset management.
