Tesla's Troubles in Scandinavia: License Plate Disputes and Union Conflicts
Danish pension fund, Pension Danmark, has decided to sell all its holdings in Tesla in support of IF Metall's strike against the automaker in Sweden. The fund cited Tesla's refusal to enter a labor union agreement and the spreading conflict as reasons for divesting. Other countries, including Norway, have also expressed support for the strike, with plans to block transit shipments of Tesla vehicles meant for Sweden. The primary goal of the strike is to get Tesla Sweden to sign a collective agreement, but the company has been instructed by Elon Musk to refrain from doing so.
