Shohei Ohtani dominates Nationals, sets new record.
Shohei Ohtani broke Nolan Ryan's longstanding record by notching his 10th consecutive start in which he surrendered two runs or fewer during the Los Angeles Angels' 2-0 victory against the Washington Nationals. Ohtani held the Nationals to one hit over seven innings, striking out six and walking five. As a hitter, he went 1 for 4. The Angels improved to 6-5 with the win and will face the Nationals again on Wednesday before heading to Boston for a series against the Red Sox.
