"Triple Homicide Suspect Denied Bail in Newton Anniversary Killings"
Christopher Ferguson, the man charged in the random killings of a couple celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary and the wife's 97-year-old mother in Newton, Massachusetts, was ordered held without bail. The victims were found with apparent stab wounds and blunt-force trauma in their home, which showed signs of forced entry. Ferguson is charged with murder and other offenses, and additional murder charges are likely pending autopsies. He has a previous arrest for assault and battery in 2005 and is due back in court on July 25.
