
"Transit Troubles: Service Disruptions and Delays Hit Northeast Rail Commuters"
NJ Transit train service on the Northeast Corridor line into and out of New York Penn Station was temporarily suspended due to Amtrak signal issues, causing significant delays. Service has resumed with 45-minute delays as of 8:15 a.m. Alternative routes and cross-honoring of tickets with PATH and PATCO are in place to accommodate travelers during the disruption. Amtrak trains are also affected, with delays up to two hours expected.
