"NYC Veterans Day Parade: Honoring Heroes and Creating Road Closures"
The 104th Veterans Day Parade in New York City will cause street closures in Midtown Manhattan on Saturday morning. The parade, the largest of its kind in the nation, will feature 20,000 marchers, 25 floats, over 150 vehicles, and 280 marching units. It will run along Fifth Avenue from 26th Street to 47th Street. The event can be viewed live on WABC and livestreamed. New York landmarks, including One World Trade Center and Niagara Falls, will be lit up with green lights on Friday night to honor veterans. Governor Kathy Hochul also announced new initiatives, including a grant program for improving veterans services in the state.
