The top-ranked Oklahoma softball team's NCAA-record win streak of 71 games came to an end with a 7-5 upset loss to Louisiana. The Ragin’ Cajuns scored three runs in the eighth inning, and despite a late rally by the Sooners, it wasn't enough to maintain their winning streak. Oklahoma committed three errors in the game, marking the first time they've had three or more errors in a game since June 2021. Despite the loss, Kinzie Hansen's offensive performance stood out with a two-run home run, but the Sooners couldn't overcome the deficit.
