The AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT, initially unpopular due to its high price, is now available for $353 on Newegg, nearly $100 lower than its official MSRP, with no official price reduction from AMD. Equipped with the Navi 32 XL GPU and 12GB GDDR6 memory, the card is being offered by PowerColor with two models, one featuring factory overclocking. This promotion may hint at potential discounts for the scarce RDNA2 models in the market.
Sapphire is currently the only company to announce a reference model of the AMD RX 7800 XT GPU, known as the MBA design. AMD has stated that there won't be a reference design for the RX 7700 XT, and it will only be available through board partners as custom designs. While Sapphire has announced their MBA model, there is uncertainty regarding the availability of similar designs from other manufacturers. The MBA cards, whether from an AIB or directly from AMD, are essentially the same, with potential rebranding. Review results for the RX 7800 XT MBA design are expected to be disclosed tomorrow, just a day before the official product launch.
