"DPS Officer Shoves Parent of Uvalde Shooting Victim: Video Released"
The Texas Department of Public Safety has released body cam footage of a trooper's confrontation with Ana Rodriguez, the mother of one of the Uvalde school shooting victims, who was trying to get her son out of school to attend a protest against gun violence. The trooper physically forced Rodriguez toward the exit, threatened to arrest her, and accused her of causing a disturbance. The agency confirmed that it is investigating the incident. Uvalde CISD interim Superintendent Gary Patterson said students who took part in the protests that day will not face consequences, even though some of them broke the rules.
