The Texas Longhorns will face the No. 8 Stanford Cardinal in the Palo Alto Super Regional after Stanford defeated the Texas A&M Aggies 7-1 to advance. Stanford's clutch hitting and strong relief pitching helped them secure the win, with designated hitter Braden Montgomery and catcher Malcom Moore contributing home runs. Stanford left-hander Quinn Matthews pitched four scoreless innings in his first relief appearance of the season, while left-handed closer Ryan Bruno struck out three to end the game and the regional.
