"FFXIV Dawntrail Expansion Introduces Enchanting Pictomancer Job and Female Hrothgar"

Final Fantasy XIV's upcoming "Dawntrail" expansion will introduce a new Pictomancer job, inspired by Final Fantasy VI, as a magical ranged DPS with no required class, starting at level 80. The expansion will also feature new areas, dungeons, and the addition of a new female Hrothgar race. A release date for "Dawntrail" has not been announced, but the 6.55 patch is set for January 16. Additionally, a new "limited" job, Beastmaster, will be added in a later update, along with new "lifestyle content" called "Cosmic Exploration."
