49ers add former Panthers safety Myles Hartsfield to roster
The San Francisco 49ers have signed former Carolina Panthers defensive back Myles Hartsfield, who played under new defensive coordinator Steve Wilks last season. Hartsfield is a versatile option in the defensive backfield, having played in the slot and at free safety. He is also a solid nickel cornerback and a core special teams player. Hartsfield takes the place of Tarvarius Moore, who signed with the Packers.
