Unveiling the Genetic Secrets of Prostate Cancer: Novel Risk Variants, Age Disparities, and PSA Levels
A multi-ancestry genome-wide study has identified 187 novel risk variants associated with prostate cancer. The study utilized data from diverse populations and identified new susceptibility loci, providing insights into the genetic risk factors for prostate cancer. The findings contribute to the development of genetic risk prediction models and highlight the importance of considering multi-ancestry populations in prostate cancer research.
