MST3K Returns: Four New Episodes with RiffTrax and Shout! Studios
RiffTrax and Shout! Studios are teaming to produce four new Mystery Science Theater 3000 episodes, led by MST3K alums Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy, Bill Corbett, and Mary Jo Pehl. A Kickstarter campaign has launched to fund the revival (aiming for $20,000 to celebrate MST3K’s 20th anniversary), with production in Minneapolis and release of the new episodes on RiffTrax’s site later this year, preserving the show’s signature practical-sets and riffing humor.
