UFC 290 Fight Card Plagued by Cancellations and Health Concerns
Josiah Harrell, also known as the "Muscle Hamster," has been forced to withdraw from his UFC 290 fight due to a medical condition. A pre-fight MRI revealed that Harrell has Moyamoya Syndrome, a rare disease that causes blocked arteries in the brain and can lead to strokes. He will undergo a brain procedure soon. The UFC is yet to announce if the fight will be rebooked or if a replacement opponent will be found for Jack Della Maddalena.
