Tuohys Confirm $138K Payment to Michael Oher for 'The Blind Side'
Lawyers for Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, the couple accused by former NFL star Michael Oher of cheating him out of profits from the movie "The Blind Side," filed a court document revealing that they actually paid Oher over $138,000 in profits from the movie and book. The financial accounting, ordered by a Tennessee court, showed that the payments were made in 10 installments between 2007 and 2023. The Tuohys' lawyers stated that the profits were to be split five ways, including Oher. Oher's attorneys have not responded to the filing, and he has until November 28 to file any objections.
