The house was last sold in 2012 for $1.58 million and was briefly listed on Airbnb in 2021 for a one-night stay.
The door frame from the iconic scene in "Titanic" where Jack couldn't fit on it has been sold for over $718,000 at an auction. Other Titanic memorabilia items, including costumes worn by Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, were also sold. Director James Cameron recently addressed the debate about whether both characters could have survived on the door, stating that Jack might have lived, but there were many variables. Kate Winslet also weighed in, expressing her belief that both characters wouldn't have survived if they had both gotten on the door.
Colin Firth's iconic wet shirt from the lake scene in 1995's Pride and Prejudice sold at auction for $25,000, double the estimated price, while other movie outfits, including Madonna's gown from Evita and Johnny Depp's costume from Sleepy Hollow, also fetched high prices.
