Swedish Motorway Collapses in Massive Landslide
A large section of a motorway in southwest Sweden collapsed due to a landslide, causing three people to sustain minor injuries. The affected area measures approximately 700 x 200 meters, with the hardest-hit parts being around 150 x 100 meters. The landslide impacted around ten vehicles, a wooded area, a business area with a gas station and a fast food restaurant. Rescue services have helped all individuals out of the vehicles, and an investigation is underway to determine if nearby construction work contributed to the incident. Search operations are ongoing, and the possibility of further slides cannot be ruled out.
