Mother-daughter duo make history as first to co-pilot international flight for FedEx and Southwest Airlines.
FedEx pilots Terri Eidson and Nicole McCallister made history by becoming the first mother-daughter team to co-pilot an international flight, departing from Memphis and landing in Incheon, South Korea after a nearly 15-hour flight. The flight came less than a month before the 91st anniversary of Amelia Earhart’s first transatlantic flight. Eidson is a Boeing 777 captain and McCallister is a 777 first officer who followed in her mother’s footsteps.
