Skywind, an ambitious modding project that aims to import the entirety of Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind into the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim engine, has released a 21-minute video of a single quest in Skywind to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Morrowind. The video showcases re-imagined assets, creative level design ideas, and more immersive dialogue and scripted sequences. Skywind is made entirely by a team of volunteers and aims to recreate Morrowind's unique flavor with modern art assets and light touch revisions to its quest design and dialogue.
The Skywind mod project, which rebuilds The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind in the Skyrim engine, has released a new gameplay video showcasing 20 minutes of new footage, including new world spaces, creatures, environment assets, voice lines, item descriptions, user interface improvements, and spells. The video revolves around a quest from the original game called Necromancer in Mawia. The project has no set release date, and the team is always looking for more contributors to speed up development.
