Illinois surgeon indicted in Columbus couple's double homicide
A Franklin County grand jury indicted Illinois vascular surgeon Michael David McKee on aggravated murder and aggravated burglary while using a firearm in the December killings of his ex-wife Monique Tepe and her husband, Dr. Spencer Tepe, in Columbus, Ohio. McKee, who lived in Chicago, was arrested in Rockford, Illinois, and waived extradition; his next Illinois hearing is Jan 23. Authorities tied him to the crime through surveillance footage and a firearm found at his Illinois residence matching evidence from the scene; no forced entry or theft was found, and the Tepes' two children and dog were unharmed.
