Roku beats earnings expectations and forecasts strong Q2 revenue despite ad market uncertainty.
Roku reported a Q1 earnings loss of $1.38 per share, missing the Street estimate, but had a net increase of 1.6 million active accounts from Q4 2022. The streaming platform is creating new monetization opportunities and managing investments and costs to achieve positive EBITDA for full year 2024. Shares of Roku are trading 3.08% higher in the after-hours session.
