Huawei Unveils Android-Free Mate 70, Challenging Apple and US Tech
Huawei has launched its first in-house mobile operating system, aiming to create a platform independent of major US tech sources due to existing bans. This new OS, which will be installed on future Huawei smartphones, is still under refinement but features design elements reminiscent of iOS. The Mate 70 series, following the Mate 60, showcases Huawei's commitment to using fully Chinese-made processors. The OS includes an AI assistant named Xiaoyi, and maintains design consistency across Huawei's devices.
