Dozens of residents in Washington County, near Pittsburgh, were rescued from the Washington Estates Mobile Home Park after heavy rain caused severe flooding, displacing about 50 people and prompting three water rescue boats to be launched. Some residents were stranded for hours, with one describing the flooding as happening within minutes. First responders, including the Canton Township Volunteer Fire Department, provided temporary shelter and assistance to those affected. The area is bracing for more rain, and local leaders are considering regional flood plans to address the ongoing issue.
