"Harry Caray's Great-Grandson Chris Joins Oakland A's Broadcast Team"
Chris Caray, the fourth generation of his family to work as an MLB broadcaster, has been hired as a play-by-play announcer for Oakland Athletics games on NBC Sports California. He joins Jenny Cavnar and former big league pitcher Dallas Braden in Oakland's TV booth, and expressed his excitement for fulfilling his childhood dream. Caray, who most recently handled play-by-play duties for Double-A Amarillo in the Arizona Diamondbacks' system, brings tremendous skill and passion to his new role.
