
GB seals historic double gold as Weston and Stoecker win mixed team skeleton
Britain made Olympic history by winning two golds in a day as Matt Weston and Tabitha Stoecker clinched the mixed team skeleton, giving Team GB its third gold of Milan-Cortina and making Weston the first Briton to win two Winter Games golds. Stoecker posted 1:00.77, setting up a final time of 1:59.36, while Germany took silver and bronze and a second GB duo, Marcus Wyatt and Freya Tarbit, finished 0.01 seconds off the podium.
