Young wrestlers dominate at U20 and U23 World Team Trials.
Two future Penn State wrestlers, Mitchell Mesenbrink and Luke Lilledahl, won their respective weight classes at the U20 World Team Trials and will represent the United States at the U20 World Championships in Poland this August. Mesenbrink, a transfer from Cal Baptist, won the 74-kilogram weight class while Lilledahl won at 57 kilograms. Mesenbrink left Cal Baptist earlier this year and will be at Penn State for the 2023-2024 season.
