While no criminal charges have been brought against Favre, the lawsuit claims that he arranged for his drug company to receive $1.7 million and orchestrated $5 million for a volleyball facility. Favre's attorneys argue that he was not part of the scheme and that the Department of Human Services is suing him to deflect from its own role in allowing fraud.
