
Tennessee QB Nico Iamaleava Injured, Team Wins 33-14 Over Mississippi State
Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava was sidelined with an upper-body injury during the game against Mississippi State, leading to backup Gaston Moore taking over in the second half. Iamaleava sustained the injury after a run and a hit during a pass attempt, but managed to complete 8 of 13 passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns before exiting. Running back Dylan Sampson, who also suffered a leg injury, returned in the second half. Tennessee led 20-7 at halftime and will face No. 2 Georgia next week.
