Nonverbal Influence: Elder Holland's Mission Leadership Approach.
Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles spoke about the influence of mission leaders at the 2023 Seminar for New Mission Leaders. He was joined by four other Apostles who shared their experiences as mission presidents. The seminar included surprise visitors who were former missionaries of the Apostles. Elder Holland emphasized the importance of prayer and quoted 3 Nephi 18:24. He also spoke about the impact of his own mission president, Elder Marion D. Hanks. The mission leaders shared their experiences and advice, including the importance of teaching the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and being an example of what you teach.
