Chris Devenski Stays with Angels, Barrera and Walters Released.

The Los Angeles Angels have released outfielder Luis Barrera and right-hander Nash Walters from their minor league contracts. Meanwhile, Chris Devenski, who had the option to opt out of his own minors deal, will remain with the Angels' Triple-A club. Devenski has pitched only 25 2/3 total MLB innings since the start of the 2020 season due to injuries. Barrera, who has 38 Major League games on his resume, is known for his speed and ability to play all three outfield positions. Walters made his MLB debut in 2022 and has a 4.37 ERA over 224 2/3 career innings in the minors.
