The Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) is still lacking the star power of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF), which recently concluded its playoffs with a 3-on-3 overtime final. The gimmick of a one-game championship decided in 3-on-3 may not be the fairest way to decide a champion, but it was unique, memorable, and ultimately pretty satisfying. The Toronto Six won their first-ever title after Tereza Vanišová scored an incredible individual effort goal against the Minnesota Whitecaps.
